staticxjam is a simple tool written in Java that you might consider if you want to statically generate your site.
It is mainly used for sites with a menu+copyright+contents structure (this should be like 99% ?). The advantage is that you write the menu and copyright part only once and you can just concentrate on the contents.
It's also recommended for multiple language sites. Read the usage guide to get a better ideea about what does it do.
